Could not restore db from the backup file. Please help!

Hi All,
I normally restore a database from a backup file as a test
db for myself on daily basis without any problems. But
somehow today, I got this kind of error if I ran the
restore task from EM:
"SqlDumpExceptionHandler: Process 52 generated fatal
exception C0000005 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. SQL Server
is terminating this process".
If I ran restore sql statement from query analyzer, it
returned succeed message; however, from the EM the
restored db is marked with loading and I couldn't use it.
I digged into this problem but couldn't find any answers.
Please help
OrchidSounds like a corrupt backup (which you should expect
occasionally).
